Ottawa, or Bytown as it first was known, was born in 1826 — 200 years ago.

The CCA’s Ottawa 200 walking tour is offered on Saturday, August 15.
Meet at the Colonel John By statue in Major’s Hill Park (behind the Chateau Laurier). The tour starts at 10:30 a.m. It lasts about 90 minutes and covers 1.4 kms.
There is no fee, but donations to the Centretown Community Association are appreciated.
